The Society for the Study of Early Modern Women and Gender supports and sustains scholarship via a variety of venues: sponsoring sessions at a number of professional meetings; offering grants for graduate travel and prizes for best essays authored by graduate students; recognizing outstanding work in the field with awards. Journal Call for Papers: The editors of Early Modern Women: An Interdisciplinary Journal, invites the submission of essays related to women and gender covering the years 1400 to 1700, and encourage submissions that appeal to readers across disciplinary boundaries.
